Steeda’s billet aluminium oil separator collects oil carried through the crankcase ventilation system before it reaches the intake manifold. It replaces the PCV hose and helps reduce intake deposits and the effect of oil vapour on combustion.

Steeda S550 Mustang Billet Oil Separator (GT)

The preassembled unit uses factory-style quick connections: unclip the original hose and clip the separator into place. Installation is fully reversible. The lightweight body has AN-style fittings and a knurled collection bowl for easier servicing.

Capacity is 4 US fl oz, approximately 118 ml. Check the collected oil after about 1,500 miles/2,400 km and adjust the draining interval to suit the car. Engine condition, driving style and operating conditions affect accumulation. Oil separation can also help reduce deposits in direct-injection engines.
