Integrated Engineering Street/Race exhaust camshaft – VAG 1.8T 20V

Integrated Engineering’s Street/Race exhaust camshaft is designed for modified VAG 1.8T 20V engines where the cam profile needs to better suit a larger turbocharger and a higher-RPM powerband.

IE designed this cam especially for turbo builds in the 400–600 hp range with an ideal powerband of 4000–8000 rpm. The Street/Race profile is milder than the Race version and is designed to retain a relatively smooth idle.

The cam sprocket is pre-set and features a factory-style timing mark, following the same timing installation process as a stock camshaft.

Note: This camshaft is not designed to be used alone. IE requires it to be paired with an IE Street/Race or Race intake camshaft. Choose the cam combination according to the turbocharger, target power and intended RPM range.

IE highly recommends upgraded valve springs and retainers, particularly with larger turbochargers, higher RPM limits and upgraded camshafts.
