This OEM-grade repair kit lets you fix the well-known “K0 clutch” issue in 0DD (DQ400) mechatronics without replacing the entire unit. Ideal for hybrid VAG models like Golf GTE, e-tron, Octavia iV, Superb iV, Passat GTE, Formentor e-Hybrid, and more.

What is the “K0” issue?

Failure often starts with the small mesh screen inside the mechatronics; it can break free under pressure and clog the N218 solenoid. The typical error that follows is P2884 – “Engine Disconnect Clutch – Stuck Open/Closed”, which disables the internal combustion engine and leaves the car in electric-only limp mode.

If the problem is limited to this solenoid fault, this kit allows a quick and cost-effective repair by replacing only the worn parts, restoring normal operation without a full mechatronic overhaul.
