The Spool aluminium 8HP oil pan replaces the factory plastic or stamped-steel pan with a stronger, more thermally efficient design. The added fluid volume helps stabilise lubrication and temperature when the transmission is used hard in a tuned, track-driven or heavily loaded vehicle.
