Volkswagen EA888.3 engines are no different from other modern direct-injection engines in the fact that after heavy tuning, the standard fuel supply becomes an issue. Stock fuel pump is not capable of keeping steady fuel pressures, leading to problems in performance and reliability.
To squeeze out all the treats from your turbo, it’s time to go for a high output version of your fuel pump.
Previously, the options on the market have been extremely limited – and the rare ones existing have suffered from serious issues in quality control. German company Bar-Tek invented the wheel again, producing a new, german made version with higher tolerances and better materials.
