Wastegate Actuator / Servo for IHI IS38 Turbocharger

Original replacement wastegate actuator (servo) for the IHI IS38 turbocharger used in many MQB-platform 1.8T and 2.0T engines. Found, for example, on the VW Golf MK7 R and Audi S3 8V, as well as numerous other Audi, Volkswagen, Seat, and Skoda models.

If the original actuator has failed and is causing fault codes related to an incorrect wastegate position, the actuator will likely need to be replaced.

Please note the following:

• When installing the actuator, the wastegate base position must always be adjusted according to the manufacturer’s specifications. Use VCDS / VAG-COM or another compatible VW diagnostic tool to set the correct wastegate actuator voltage.
• After installation, perform the wastegate basic setting / adaptation procedure before driving the vehicle.
