Mk7 2.0TSI is an engine with great potential for tuning, capable for holding respectable power levels with stock internals.
Unfortunately the same cannot be said about the original turbocharger, especially the notorious IS38 and it’s early generations. Luckily the limited output and compromised reliability can be fixed, your solution is here.

Please note, for optimal results with 2.0TSI engine an upgraded intake, exhaust sytem and cooling upgrades are needed and recommended. Pay attention to fuel system (pumps mainly) capacity as well, when getting close to the 500hp mark. In the end, the results are mostly based on precise and professional engine tuning.
