In tuned engine, the OEM catalytic converter can quickly become a bottleneck. Straight pipe, aka. “de-cat” is not an optimal way to go either, considering the emissions, unpleasant smells and rough exhaust note it might cause.

Redback metallic catalytics to the rescue – this FIA 100CPI cat is equipped with high flowing metallic matrix. This kind of catalytic has a flow capacity not so distant from a straight pipe, while still handling your emissions and exhaust fumes.
