Akrapovič develops materials, structure and sound as one complete system. Months of development refine both performance and the sound character until everything is in tune. Manufacturing takes place in Akrapovič’s own facilities, with intricate cast components made in its own foundry. At Futurez, we have proudly served as an Akrapovič importer for over a decade.
The Slip-On Line for the BMW M5 is made from lightweight, high-grade titanium with larger main pipes. Its valve housings and specially shaped collectors are cast in Akrapovič’s own titanium foundry. An included control kit operates the exhaust valves to create a deep, sporty sound across the driving modes.
Titanium tailpipes with hand-crafted carbon fibre outer sleeves complete the system. Both the round and hexagonal options incorporate acoustic reflectors that direct part of the exterior exhaust sound towards the cabin.

TP-CT/78 combines a round titanium structure with a hand-made carbon fibre outer sleeve. Integrated acoustic reflectors direct part of the sound towards the cabin.

Akrapovič measured the changes on its own dynamometer using a BMW M5, compared with its stock exhaust.

Power and torque figures are the manufacturer’s maximum gains at the stated engine speeds, rather than differences between peak engine outputs. The vehicle version and configuration affect the results achieved.
Fitment and points to consider
For BMW M5 G90 Sedan and G99 Touring models with an OPF/GPF particulate filter. Akrapovič states EC/ECE type approval for this configuration. ECU remapping is not required, but the original exhaust must be cut as specified in the installation instructions.
Optional Sound Kit
The optional Akrapovič Sound Kit provides exhaust valve control from the cabin. Its wireless Sound Remote Controller lets you select a quieter mode or a sportier sound. A receiver controls the actuators that open the exhaust valves or place them in a regulated mode.
Sound Kit P-HF1638 is an option for the Slip-On Line S-BM/T/37H on BMW M5 G90/G99 OPF/GPF models. Using the Sound Kit invalidates the exhaust system’s ECE type approval. Manufacturer images are representative.
The Sound Kit is optional. Select the package without it or add it using the product options.

Installation and setup
We recommend having your Akrapovič exhaust installed by an authorised Akrapovič dealer. Appropriate test equipment and software help verify correct exhaust operation, valve control and settings after installation.
We offer professional installation of Akrapovič products at our ECU Helsinki Customs workshop in Vantaa, Finland.
