Mandrel-bent 2.5-inch/63.5 mm tubing uses 304 stainless steel. Supplied flush-fit clamps support sealed joints and allow shortening if necessary. It also works with most aftermarket axle-back exhausts.
The 2018-on active exhaust retains its valve functions, with increased sound particularly in Sport and Race settings. Compared with an H-pipe, the tone is sharper and less focused on traditional low V8 rumble. Retaining catalysts alone does not prove road approval for the complete modification.
Fits S550 Mustang GT 2015–2023, including Bullitt and Mach 1, and S650 GT/Dark Horse from 2024 with the 5.0 Coyote V8.
