Ultra Racing’s 2-point adj. front strut bar stiffens the Honda Civic / CR-X chassis by tying suspension mounting areas together. Reducing body flex gives the suspension a more stable base to work from and can make steering response and cornering feel tighter and more precise.

Ultra Racing specialises in chassis and suspension bracing, with a range covering front and rear upper braces, lower and mid braces, fender braces and anti-roll bars. The idea is to reinforce strategic areas of the chassis without major structural modification. Ultra Racing states that its brace brackets use 4–5 mm steel plate, while its hollow steel tubes are typically 1.2–1.6 mm thick.

This is a simple, effective chassis mod for the Honda Civic / CR-X when you want a little more rigidity without changing the actual suspension components. Chassis bracing also makes a sensible companion to other suspension upgrades.
