MRT Gr.A DTM tie-rod kit, BMW E30/E36/E46

A tie-rod assembly based on the 1990–1992 DTM design, with 10–35 mm of bump-steer correction. A lightweight option for a track-car front suspension build.

Specifications

• Bump-steer correction from 10 to 35 mm in 5 mm increments.
• Lightweight black hard-anodised AW-7075 extensions, replaceable three-piece JMX Motorsport rod ends, CrMo studs and 316L spacers.
• The shorter version suits standard-width E30/E36 applications. The longer version suits standard-width E46 or +30 mm E30/E36 control arms.
• Can be combined with original spindles and MRT RACE or roll-centre correction kits.
• Recommended minimum wheel diameter: 15 inches with E30 spindles, 16 inches with E36/E46 spindles.
• Includes the necessary mounting hardware and MRT decals.

Fitment and installation

BMW E30, E36 and E46, including Z3, Z4 and Compact applications. Excludes E30 iX and E46 xi/xd. Not intended for drifting. Steering-rack stops are recommended.

Bolt-on installation on E30/E36 racks. For an E46 rack, the manufacturer recommends a 6 mm wide and 3 mm deep locating slot for the clevis pin. Front alignment is required after installation.
