MRT RACE front suspension components, BMW E8X/E9X

Adjustable control arms, tension arms and tie rods for E8X/E9X front suspension. Choose the complete combination or individual arm sets. Rigid joints provide more precise front-end location.

Specifications

• Lightweight AW-7075 aluminium components. Angled control-arm and tie-rod ends provide additional travel, while tension arms use a straight rigid design.
• Control arms include provision for the headlight level sensor.
• Replaceable three-piece JMX Motorsport rod ends. Black aluminium parts are hard anodised, with grade 12.9 fasteners and 316L stainless spacers.
• Length adjustment per arm/rod: −5 to +25 mm compared with original non-M parts, or −15 to +15 mm compared with M parts.
• Three-position roll-centre, anti-dive and/or bump-steer adjustment according to the selected component.
• Manufacturer-stated 30% weight saving versus original cast arms. Recommended minimum wheel diameter: 17 inches.

Fitment and installation

BMW E81, E82, E87, E88, E90, E91, E92 and E93, including 1M and M3. The manufacturer also lists Z4, but the exact Z4 version must be confirmed from the component combination. This general listing does not establish all-wheel-drive front fitment.

Bolt-on installation without special tools, followed by front alignment. Includes mounting hardware, instructions and MRT decals for the selected package.
