Steeda’s intake includes a stainless housing and heat shield with a washable, re-oilable filter. The velocity-stack inlet guide smooths airflow and reduces turbulence, while the shield separates the intake from engine-bay heat.
This No Elbow version excludes the inlet elbow. The manufacturer reports quicker cooling towards ambient temperature than the factory airbox.
Calibration required
Steeda confirms that a matching tune is required before use unless a separate compatible CAI restrictor is installed. The restrictor is not listed as included here. Rubber trim seals the box to the bonnet/fender. installation hardware is supplied.
