The Spool billet Race torque converter is intended for B58 and S58 builds where the factory converter clutch and thermal capacity have become limiting factors. It helps transfer increased torque more consistently during hard launches and full-load shifts.

This is supplied as a complete new converter with no core return required. Stall characteristics, lock-up strategy and transmission calibration must be matched to the vehicle, turbo and intended use.
