MRT front control-arm inner joints, BMW E30/E36/E46

Rigid spherical-bearing joints for the inner ends of front control arms. Machined aluminium housings and CrMo mounting studs, with replaceable bearings. Supplied as a pair.

Select the joint to match the control arm

• 32 mm: inner end of an E30 M3 Dorman control arm. Installation requires an M33x1 thread.
• 38 mm: inner end of an E46 M3 control arm. Installation requires an M39x1 thread.
• 41 mm iX: inner end of an E30 iX control arm.
• Standard 41 mm: inner end of E30 non-M, E36 non-M and E36 M3 control arms.

The mounting taper and housing bore are application-specific. Matching outside diameters do not make different versions interchangeable.

Construction and installation

• Hard-anodised AW-6082 aluminium housings and CrMo steel custom fasteners. MRT decals are included.
• The rigid joint replaces the compliant original design. A worn spherical bearing can be replaced without renewing the complete housing.

A press is required. Thread taps for the E30 M3 Dorman and E46 M3 versions are sold separately. Follow the drawing for the selected inner joint.
