Steeda Mustang S550 Drag Race Rear Lower Control Arm Spherical Bearings

Drag-racing spherical bearings replace the compliant rear lower-control-arm bushes. Steeda measured more than two degrees of toe change under acceleration with the originals. The bearings reduce this deflection, wheel hop and the bush’s inherent spring effect, allowing freer suspension movement.

Nickel-plated 1018-steel housings use precision Teflon-lined bearings. A billet-aluminium installation tool is included. Manufactured in Valdosta, USA. Steeda claims no additional NVH but explicitly limits the intended use to drag racing.

Fitment and use

S550 Mustang GT V8 and 2.3 EcoBoost 2015–2023, also listing GT350 and GT500. Not for street cars. Steeda recommends polyurethane bushes 555-4047 for street and circuit use. Not for S650 models.
