Steeda S197 Mustang Billet Rear Lower Control Arms – w/ Logo Poly Ends

Steeda billet rear lower trailing arms replace the S197 Mustang’s stamped-steel originals. The stronger structure and polyurethane bushings reduce wheel hop and improve traction.

The manufacturer reports more than six pounds, approximately 2.7 kg, less weight than the original arms. Reduced unsprung mass and the correct rear offset support suspension function. Steeda states that this polyurethane version does not increase noise or vibration.

Arms or replacement bushings

555-4405 is the complete polyurethane-bushed arm set. 555-4405-BK is its replacement bushing kit, not complete arms. For applications above 500 hp, Steeda recommends separate version 555-4406 with a spherical bearing at one end and polyurethane at the other. That version may introduce some noise/vibration and is not one of this listing’s options.
